In 1909, the United Presbyterian Church took on as a Home Missions project the building of the first high school in Menifee County, Kentucky, in  Frenchburg, the county seat.  The last class to graduate was the class of 1957 before the school closed for lack of funding.  For those 48 years, the school was a lighthouse of Christian witness that affected the young lives of the thousands who attended over the years.  Today, Frenchburg graduates and former  students still attend the annual school reunion held every year at the U.P. Church the third Saturday in August to reminisce and meet "old" friends!

This website is dedicated to helping us all keep in touch throughout the rest of the year!
